500 Degrees Herne Hill is a proudly family-run pizzeria with a simple but passionate purpose: bringing authentic Neapolitan pizza to London.

At the heart of our kitchen is our traditional wood-fired oven, imported directly from Italy, reaching the perfect 500 degrees to create the light, airy crust and beautifully charred base that define true Napoli pizza. For over 11 years, we’ve been serving the Herne Hill community with recipes rooted in tradition and ingredients freshly sourced from trusted Italian suppliers.

Our founder, Sam, is an experienced restaurateur and chef who has successfully opened and operated multiple restaurant concepts across London. Having built and sold his previous ventures, he chose to focus on what matters most - returning to the area where his culinary journey and reputation first began. 500 Degrees represents that return to authenticity, quality, and heartfelt hospitality.

Located just moments from the vibrant Brockwell Park, our restaurant comes alive when the weather turns warm and the park fills with families, friends, and visitors. Many make 500 Degrees their first stop for a proper meal, a quick bite after a stroll, or an easy, relaxed family dinner.
